About Mountain View Author’s Services

Mountain View Author’s Services (MVAS), is a division of Mountain View Office Services, LLC, a virtual assistant company. MVAS is owned and operated by Susan Amdur Coburn, an administrative professional with over 25 years of experience in business administration, office services, and project management. Sue’s education includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, as well as an MBA. Sue recently obtained her certification as a Professional Virtual Author’s Assistant (PVAA).

Sue’s background consists of work in numerous areas — word processing, proofreading, copyediting, contact management, data management, manuscripts, desktop publishing, and more. Select highlights of Sue’s background include being a newsletter editor; proofreading and copyediting technical reports, study guides, proposals, and other marketing materials; writing procedure manuals, and serving as editor and preparing the layout for guidebooks for local organizations. She is proficient in many computer programs, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and Adobe InDesign, as well as various web-based tools and applications. As a PVAA, Sue has the knowledge and resources to provide manuscript preparation, book publishing, and book marketing services to authors.

Sue has combined these principles with the skills she has developed over the years in order to provide authors and solopreneurs with whatever support is needed, allowing them time to focus on their writing, to network in order to get their message out, or to think.
